Together... WE ARE TEAM JERSEY!

The day after Hurricane Sandy, Jackson resident Shannon Ruvelas received a call from friends asking to come and assist with the cleanup of their storm damaged home.  She returned that night and made a post on a social media site asking if any friends were available to help.

Within a few hours, over 500 people eager to help had responded.  That momentum continued and today, WE ARE TEAM JERSEY is a 2500+ member strong all volunteer army offering much needed relief services to residents of the Jersey Shore region.

Our board is comprised of six volunteers and absolutely no one working with WRTJ receives any type of compensation for their time.  We are currently in process of seeking NFP status.
